My Educational Career

I was born in Georgia but moved to Avery County when I was starting 6th grade. I graduated from Avery County Highschool in 2015. After high school I went Western Carolina University to study special education. I graduated from WCU in December of 2019 with a bachelors of science in Elementary education and k-12 special education. ​

My Family

I married my high school sweet heart the day after I graduated from WCU. We have been married for almost three years. In July of 2022 we welcomed our first child into the world. We had a daughter and named her Poppie. She is the light of our lives. 

My Travels

When I am not at school I enjoy hanging out with family and traveling. My husband and I have been to different places around the US. We go to the beach every year for a family vacation. We have been to Washington, DC and Disney World. Our next trip we want to take is to Montana. We look forward to taking Poppie to see the United States.
